Portage College is excited to offer the Provincial Health Care Aide course on-line to students who prefer to learn from home, yet receive quality distance education throughout Alberta. This program is supported and approved by Alberta Learning in cooperation with Alberta Health and Wellness. The Health Care Aid certificate is a 25 week training programwhich which includes 18 weeks of theory delivered on-line, 2 weeks of lab skills, and 5 weeks of clinical experience.
